Australian Bra Sizes
Australian and New Zealand bra bands are the UK band minus 22: AU 8 = UK 30, 10 = 32, 12 = 34, 14 = 36 and 16 = 38. Cups use UK letters. So an AU 10C is a US and UK 32C and an EU 70C, and an AU 12B is a 34B.

Measuring for Australian sizes

What is a 10C in US size?
An Australian 10C converts to a US and UK 32C and an EU 70C on standard size charts. Its sister sizes are AU 8D and AU 12B.
What is 12B in US size?
An Australian 12B is a US and UK 34B and an EU 75B. Its sister sizes are AU 10C and AU 14A, which hold about the same cup volume on a shorter or longer band.
How do I convert AU bra sizes to UK?
Add 22 to the Australian band and keep the cup letter. AU 14DD becomes UK 36DD. To go from UK to AU, subtract 22. The cup letter stays the same in both directions, because both systems use UK cup letters.
Are New Zealand bra sizes the same as Australian?
New Zealand size charts generally use the same band numbers and cup letters as Australian ones, so the same conversion applies. Check the brand chart if unsure.
Do Australian sizes use UK or US cup letters?
Australian sizes use UK cup letters: DD, E, F, FF, G and so on. Convert the cup if you compare with a US size above D.
Why is the Australian band number so small?
Australian bands use their own number scale instead of inches. The band length behind each number matches the UK size 22 higher, so AU 12 and UK 34 are the same band.
